Hmmm. I wonder what agreed transfer policy means..... Simple, you must always buy our players for a fee and that has just gone up massively. In all seriousness a very odd statement, looks like the reply was written by the same person. City respond after Bristol Rovers confirm they are not pursuing EFL complaint. Bristol City FC welcomes the news that Bristol Rovers have confirmed they will not be pursuing any complaint to the EFL‎ following the transfer of striker Matty Taylor. The decision comes after high-level discussions between the two clubs about an agreed transfer policy going forward. The club will be making no further comment.

Is it possible that they have agreed no more cross city transfers in the near future?.....

Communication and agreement between the two clubs has to be a positive.

Communication and agreement between the two clubs has to be a positive. Agreed. The statement is so vague though that it invites speculation. Not sure that's a positive thing but in the scheme of things not important I guess.

& another healthy cheque signed. Lovely. I did wonder that. I guess when the accounts come out we'll know if that;s the case.

That's good enough for me.

I also like the fact that both clubs have said that is the end of it, rather than having the agreement and keeping quiet.

So it sounds as if something certainly wasn't how it should have been with the MT transfer. Confirms what I always thought about that lot down the road.

It's all very nice that we have a gent for an owner, and a well connected one at that, someone who wouldn't want to be seen getting involved in low-grade arguments, but it was his club that issued the statement about the complaint. Am I missing something?

Am I missing something? I assume that the agreement is both financially and commercially beneficial to BRFC otherwise why withdraw the complaint. I thought that I was the one missing things recently. 😉

Like I said all along. Nothing doing here. Transfer is done so everyone should move on. I'd focus more on the fraud at BRSC.

Wael has called them out, made it public knowledge what they have done, then just washed his hands of it and left them holding their ill-gotten gains.
