I'm surprised I've not seen mention of this before.
At the Swindon game it struck me as strange that Nick Day saved Stuart Sinclair until last, to give top billing. It's always been reserved for a striker before, and usually MT got it.
A couple of days later, when the transfer was announced, I was reminded of the team sheet being read out, and wondered if anything was known back then, or if rumours had been going around pitch-side.
Ryan Sweeney got the big fanfare last Saturday, against Bradford - again it seemed strange. Personally I'd prefer it if none of the players were singled out ahead of the others.

I think you are giving Nick far too much credit for any supposed intelligence on his part..........

Like I said all along. Nothing doing here. Transfer is done so everyone should move on. I'd focus more on the fraud at BRSC. until the day Trevor Tainton is no longer bankrupt there is not a single piece of moral high ground for you to stand on. Period.

I imagine any release clauses going forward in player contracts exclude Bristol Sport Football Division

I thought the reason you bought a proven league One striker was you were preparing for your return

We may have agreed to something but I doubt that. You really are a plonker of epic proportions. I've got some bad news for you, 1982Ltd are actually not very good and at the moment are one defeat away from being in a League position that would relegate them to the same division as lowly Bristol Rovers. Most Rovers fans don't want to play you, it's not the event, that part of it is great, some we win, some we lose, it's that we've had a gut full of your violent supporters.

If matters not, those people are all history, and oddly enough, the moment they left and the stuff that they were handed on a plate over a decade ago (contained in Kim Stuckey's Agenda For Change document) was actually implemented, the club has gone from strength to strength and is no longer haemorrhaging money. Odd that, don't you think?

I wouldn't get too big for my boots me old fella - another couple of defeats and a continued downward spiral and you will be playing us whether you want to or not. .....and we would give you a good game of football, probably beat you at the Mem, a point at Bristol Sports Franchise arena, take that - & we don't do kicking!

Can I have an English translation of the phrase "high-level discussions between the two Clubs about an agreed transfer policy going forward" please?
Gasheads deserve better than to be fobbed off with Corporate crapspeak!
