"Bristol Rovers' vice chairman has been talking about the decision not to redevelop the Memorial Stadium for another 12 months."

All these quotes and sound bites should be re-played to the BoD when they keep repeating the same bolloxs time after time.
Is it a wonder so few believe them with their 'review' and that anything will actually change
Any news on this supposed Press Conference?

I was just talking about the visit to Whaddon road for ST holders to pick their seats while the Mem was redeveloped. It really is a Groundhog Day type situation. One would have though that with the many experiences Nick has had that he would have learned a little about raising the expectation levels. This facade would see Derren Brown happy and the misdirection, manipulation and MAGIC I have to laugh or I'd cry

Presumably if and when Sainsbury's pull out there will be a hefty penalty clause, unlike here when Opal pulled out at the 11th hour when all they had given was their word. I cannot believe that it is standard practice to spend this amount of time and money on a project, progressing it to the point where we are almost ready to build, when nothing is signed with the main partner, nor are they committed in any way. Bizarre.
Nice little touch there at the end blaming the internet forums for f******g everything up. Forgot about that one.

"The Directors only hav e the best interests of Bristol Rovers at heart".
No they don't Nick. GD made it very clear in 2006 that his own financial plans are at least as important as what is best for Bristol Rovers.
