Wasted on the museum, I actually think this would be better used as an art installation, projected onto the back of the new East End. Visible from outer space (and Knowle West) Isn't outer space the same as knowle west? Cos of the lack of any evidence for intelligent life?

It is my understanding that the vacuum of deep space has a more interesting cultural life and a more varied gene pool

I have the following contributions;
-Jason Perry's blood soaked sweat band. -The measuring used stick for the goalposts when we first moved to the Mem; goals were originally too big. -A can of Deep Heat for those of us that used to get Chloroformed by it in the West Terrace at Half Time during the Ollie era - I still blame our long decline mainly on the absence of deep heat. -Graves and dedications to Captain Black Arab and Chewitsauraus. -The background music would be the theme tune from ITV's 1998 World Cup coverage which the Blue Flames used for their routines to for most of the 10 years after. -A reusable firepit containing Ray Graydon's tie, Ian Atkins tracksuit and Paul Buckle's lack of self-awareness for Gasheads to burn cathartically in perpetuity. -David Pritchard's shin pads. -Colin Howlett's microphone. -The toys which were thrown out of the pram by Darryl Duffy any time he didn't get the ball delivered to the exact millimetre precision and speed that he desired.
Plenty of Gift Shop potential too; -Bags of 1P sweets from the Young Pirates shop at Twerton still not passed their use by data as they were made mainly from plastic. -A fearsomely strong alchoholic beverage made of blood, sweat, tears, sand, stale farts, rain and the pure essence of misplaced misty eyed nostalgia known as 'Twerton Spirit'. -A rub on spray tan that gives the torso a 'quartered like appearance' called Bert Tann's Tan Spray. -A scurrilous racy tell all autobiography by a woman of local renown who Paul Trollope got off with as a teenager 'Paul Trollope's Trollop' (You can see where I'm going here). -A belt-buckle designed to look like a man with an enormously large head called Paul Buckle's Buckle. -Ian Holloway's follow up to his jaunty Autobiography of a life in football which marks a surprisingly introspective departure. In his latest offering Holloway outlines in detail the desperation inherent in the modern lived experience in describing the directionless futility, narcissm, dehumanisation and hedonistic morale decay of the human condition wrought by modernisation, technology and endless consumerism (with a few tales of dressing room banter chucked in for light relief and to highlight the general pointlessness of life). That's Ian Holloway's Hollow Way.....

And Another couple of items for the gift shop of course; -A recipie book of the best Scottish Broths developed by Bobby and Stuart Campbell known as Campbell's Soups. Any of the items that were thrown into the crowd on the pitch at the end of the 90/91 season, I remember two separate groups of folk in front of me making off with one of Brian Parkin's socks each. I seem to remember Jock throwing his shorts and ending up stood in his y fronts, though maybe that's a particularly unusual dream I had. A video of the whole thing would be good also Gerry Francis singing Maybe it's because I'm a Londoner that I love London town, to a decidedly mixed reaction was the high point. For the historical sticklers, which I suppose there should be some in a museum, this might have been 91/92, its all a bit of a blur to me. A Phil Kite down the years exhibit would be deserved also

Yes. Phil Kite: a retrospective. The story of one man's struggle to play for as many clubs as possible whilst simultaneously maintaining his lifelong mission to prevent the Gas from being completely appalling. We'll draw a veil over the embarrassing Ashton Gate and Notts County years.
Sunbeds I have known: Andy Tillson and Lewis Haldane discuss advances in tanning technology over the decades. Kids will love 'Brian show us your arse' - a chance to request that Bath's most famous cabbie show them his derriere. Will he oblige this time or is he going to pretend not to hear again? Where's Wally? Can you spot Rovers legend Justin Channing in the pictures as he attempts to hide from a succession of local bookmakers? Toughest one of the lot is the one of a Rovers home game in the 1995/96 season - turns out he's completely invisible!

I was thinking more of recognition of 20 years of continuous physiotherapy, a golden sculpture of his sponge for example

A bottle of fine vintage Gallows Humour, circa Eastville 1964.
It seems to be hard to come by though.

Geoff Bradford's England cap? I'm quite certain that the family would be delighted to loan it to the club. They already have. Well I'm blowed, in over half a century of supporting the club I've never heard that before. Many thanks.
