The Golden Dregs, Rough Trade Tuesday 16th November.
A solo project fleshed out into a band, sort of lo-fi Americana from Cornwall.
I'm looking forward to it.

The birth of the Doo Wop Groups of the 50's, Frankie Lymon & The Teenagers, The Drifters, Dion & The Belmonts, As a huge fan of early Hip Hop, New York is the birthplace of it. The WHO announces Bristol gig as part of first UK tour in six years..
Legendary rock band The Who has announced a UK tour which will see them visit Bristol for the first time in years. The tour will see them travel across the country from Edinburgh to Brighton and London, with their classic hits being accompanied by an orchestra.
Formed back in the 1960s, The WHO are “one of the top three greatest rock legacies in music history,” their success gave them nine US top ten albums and 10 UK top ten albums as well as 14 top ten singles. They were even inducted into the Rock n’ Roll hall of fame in 1990 and have had a career spanning over 50 years so far.
The tour is set to take place in July with dates up and down the country between the 6th and the 23rd of the month with Bristol’s event, at Badminton Estate, to be held on the 16th.
Talking about their upcoming tour singer Roger Daltery said: “Having not toured the UK for six years, it’s great that at this time of our careers we have the chance to go to places that are not on the usual touring map, Edinburgh Castle and Derby, as well as other cities across the country that we haven’t been for decades, will make it very special for me.”
The addition of an orchestra takes their music to new heights, according Roger. Composed of the entire live band from guitarist and backup singer Simon Townsend to drummer Zak Starkey, fans who attend can expect to hear work from across their long career.
Pete Townsend said “Roger initially christened this tour with an orchestra ‘Moving On!’ I love it. It is what both of us want to do. Move on, with new music, classic Who music, all performed in new and exciting ways.”
Tickets for the tour go on sale this Friday (3rd February) and The WHO are asking those who buy tickets to add a £1 donation for Teenage Cancer Trust.
