Great finish though by the plumber. The sort of line we will be hearing a few more times this season, no doubt.

I've got nothing to add about the quality of defending before the second goal. Feel a little better about the Sinclair red though, right decision by the referee but there wasn't a huge amount of contact and it was an understandable instinct to prevent the chance with minutes to go.

With finishing like that I'd let him work on my house.

But it was his crap touch that led to the chance. Makes him even more culpable, to my mind.

That second goal is as bad as anything I have ever seen.
I have to agree with that. Don't think I've seen worse from Rovers.

Piss poor positioning and lack of concentration for the first goal. It was like watching under tens, 3 defenders sucked out to the wider player leaving the more central striker unmarked. Something seriously wrong if 4 defenders can't stop two attackers. Great finish though by the plumber. Reevesy is a plasterer who has scored 130 goals in about 170 games at Conf level for Alty, the only surprise was that it was from outside the box! Must agree about your defending though. However, what most evident to me was that your team looked like strangers, lacked composure and your manager was hysterical on the touchline and wasnt helping the situation at all. I suppose that is understandable but whatever happens our manager is always calmness personified and I am sure the players prefer that. Thought your fans were a credit to your club (even the one who entered our dressing room trying to get to your players room!) and I hope you sort yourselves out sooner or later but it wont happen by just wishing it. It needs good leadership, always does.

Aside from confusing Matt Taylor & Ryan Brunt a few times and referring to Sinclair as Scott Sinclair, the quality of the highlights were top notch! Not from anyone wearing a rovers shirt of course. It was even worse to see the game back, not sure why I put myself through it!

They looked slicker on the ball than Altrincham when they had it to be honest but their bodies and minds weren't synchronised. It's a mental thing that happens to teams in situations like this. The pressure gets to them and they spend too much time ball-watching instead of dictating the game - a bit like Utd under Moyes. Everything goes against them and their timing is piss poor. Altrincham went out and enjoyed themselves with no pressure at all because they had all to win and nothing to lose. A sport psychologist might help but England didn't get much change from the one they had in Brazil. A decent striker, a couple of wins under their belt and it'll be a different story.

Trouble with the downs, is that some of those people walking their dogs or jogging past might make a comment about the game, and then our confidence will collapse and it will be even worse.

Jeezuz, that was f**king nauseating to watch. That video should be called "Twelve unadulterated minutes of Stuart Sinclair and Daniel Leadbitter benig absolutely f**king abysmal at football" and should be dubbed with the Benny Hill theme tune.

Might explain it.
