Screamer from Kilgour was a real beauty and the timing superb, a much needed win but make no mistake, Blackpool were by far the better team, Blackman kept us in it.

A little fortunate 10 man Blackpool didn't convert their 3 one on ones with the keeper... but I'll take a spawney win at the moment. Well played Blackman, MOTM for me. UTG.

Yep, we were as bad as in every game so far under Garner, saved by a sending off, a wonder strike, a huge deflection and 3 chances that they somehow missed. But hey, a win is a win, I'll take it. Garner did show some tactical awareness today, he sent a message to the ball boys to get the ball back to their keeper quickly. What on earth was that referee doing, 2 goal kick decisions changed to corners because their players shouted at him? The linesman didn't give either as a corner, he was in position for the goal kick both times.

Just got back!
Horrendous conditions today, but isn't it remarkable Blackpool coped better and made more of them than we did?
A lucky win today.
Amazing strike from my m o m Alfie. And a deflected shot, both v 10 men, we made hard work of our win.
Why? Because we insist on a 4-3-3 formation again. And it didn't work. Again. Only when a true strike partner came on (Abraham) to partner jch did we look more balanced and had movement up front against a tiring Blackpool. We looked more orthodox 4-4-2. Little pushed forward, Barratt helped keep the ball rolling and we pressed their high line defending.
But how they missed that chance at the end when matey plonked it wrong side of post for him, I'll never know.
Blackman made good saves. Leahy made some great interceptions. Abs got stuck in. Craig tried organisation.
Upson, Ollie, JML, Rodders and Little for me didn't have brilliant games.
Moving from a back 5 to 4 still doesn't look good. It looks like no one knows where they should be at times, confused, dysfunctional. Marking seems to have gone AWOL at important, costly times. I'm not convinced Little has lived up to the player we think he is atm, so for me jury out but we just don't have fit competition in that position.
Blackpool tried to play some good one touch, breakaway football. They found space behind us, through us and in front of us. Just....they messed about time wasting on 19 mins, gamesmanship and their keeper whom was pensioner in movement when they were winning, suddenly turned spritely when losing? Shame, they were better than that. They were also much better than that godawful challenge from behind on jch..... dangerous.....and rightly sent off. That conspired to be their downfall. And after missing a few very good chances, we eventually took ours.
A lucky win is worth the same in points as any other, so we'll take that and move on. UptheGas..

Crikey, poorest I've seen us under BG and we some how managed a win, key points for me today.
Being told that the players love training under BG and were desperate for a win as I was thinking he may start to lose the changing room.
A ball out from blackman about midway through 2nd half, he bowled it down his left and the player broke at pace (sorry not sure who it was), but the entire back 4 and midfield just stood there. It was if their heads all dropped at the same time. It wasn't a good sight and I thought then that if we lost the next few matches BG would be out. Few mins later kilgore scored, but I felt that came from frustration, his crosses were easily cleared and he couldn't see a pass was , it was a shot from desperation.
Their nos 21, tall black centre forward was constantly laying of quality short passes to midfielders attacking behind him. Looked a great technical player. No idea if he knows where the net is though.

Hopefully Ben will get his first win as he completes his honeymoon period in charge today.
The pitch will be a tad better than the beach at Birkenhead or Blackpool sands I suspect.
Will Harries be used for first time or has Arthur Daly been passed fit to take his place ?
Will Tammy's young bro get some minutes ?
Will Ken Masters be spotted selling 50/50 tickets and sale the winner likely to be £850 to Bambi ?
I understand former Rovers favourite Christian Edwards will be guest at the match today.
Will Storm Dennis Rofe allow the temporary stands to be used and will Health & Safety prevent the match being played ?
Will we get our first home win in seven matches
Will we get our first win in 15 matches ?
Will we get a goal scorer other than a double barrelled name score a goal since Nichols at Ipswich ?
All will be revealed at 5ish

All will be revealed at 5ish Our first win of the decade. A storm Alfie goal from distance with a fortunate winner. After £6m Blackpool striker scored from their first attack I like most fans did not expect to come back. However after buying a 50/50 from Ken Masters I thought my luck would be in. However was one out and Bambi picked up £700! SIDS law but Ten man Pool wasted time and Blackman was superb with three outstanding saves. Our play off push is now back on! Upson booked again. Good to see the enthusiastic Abraham battling for everything along with Barrett. Well done Ben getting soaking wet was worth it.

nice to see so many happy faces on here tonight It's because everybody who went knows that nothing has changed. If that was 11 Vs 11, or even a team in any kind of form with 10 players, we would have lost again. No movement or urgency from midfield. Static front line. Leahy nowhere near the man crossing the ball, when it does come in everybody watches it rather than attacks it, and of course it ends up in our net. Midfield and defence undone time after time by opposition running straight at them. Happy with the win, but Garner is still Garner and unfortunately is still here.

Right now the players have more confidence, its wasn't great, but there is def more structure to the team. I also saw some stats that it was our 3rd consecutive match where we had more than 50% poss, prior to that we were in the 30%'s for a while. Same old problem is lack of creativity in the midfield. Upson is our best short passer, but sits on front of back four. I'm hoping for Daly to start with JCH, but how we structure the midfield and flanks arond those two is the issue
