We were 5 first team players down as well considering we need to strengthen 2 or 3 positions and 2 or 3 of the team were not match fit/in their familiar positions. I agree we need 2/3 players, let's hope that we see them soon. I think another target man is a must, although would love it if Brunt proves me wrong.

I think Brunt will be ok once he has a few games under his belt and gets up to match fitmess,after all he has hardly played for a year

For a bloke who hasnt playes for a year, Brunty did well and created the best move of the match. Game time to build on the obviously lackof match sharpness and he will be fine

Overall I thought there were good signs yesterday that once everbody is fully fit and got to know each others game fully, that we could have a nice little hard working passing team. Thought Taylor and gosling looked to show some good touches and comfortable on the ball if sometimes lacking that final ball. Mansell and Sinclair bothed looked busy and made plenty of telling interceptions. The only thing is with 3-5-2 is that the players that end up in crossing positions are generally more often than not players who have more defensive attributes and can't beat there man and put a decent ball in. Overall good solid start though.
