Not for the first time this season one individual mistake has cost us.

Not for the first time this season one individual mistake has cost us. Not putting away and scoring enough goals has cost us! Puddy will get the blame today just like Mildenhall did a couple of weeks ago for making 1 mistake Yet our forwards can miss countless clear cut chances over the season and get praised!

Gutted we threw that away so late on, but even if we had won today, we still needed to win again next week. I see no reason why Gateshead can't get a point next week, and it's back on again. Kidderminster did us a huge favour today, at least we can take it to the last day with a reasonable chance, Barnet could well have been celebrating with the trophy right now if they had scored again.

The draws this season have cost us, I fully expect to be in the play offs now, if they play like that we'll struggle in them as well.

I'm a massive fan of Clarke but selecting Puddy over Mildenhall is a mistake. He's a decent shot stopper but highly error prone as we've seen the last few weeks. It was a matter of time before an error was made that would prove highly significant and we've seen that today. Experience is vital this time of the season and Mildenhall must be recalled.

WestCountry I see your logic. 1-1 at Dover is a better result than 1-1 at Kiddy, but.....
Clarke has a big job to do. Regardless of whether Barnet win next week, we have to win as if we don't I fear what happened today could mean we implode during the playoffs. Apparently players slumped on the ground at FT. They know this lost a chance today. Clarke has to earn his money this week!

The final result sums the game (and the season) up perfectly, but there's always next week I s'pose. Last chance to shine mind you. As the poster says, it's typically Rovers. I don't know whether to laugh or cry at the moment.

Yes gutted, although we weren't great, they shouldn't have scored. It was an individual error, and that's tough. It's still there to win, and if not then play offs it will have to be. Barnet have been let off, but they might say the same that they have let us off, and had they won would only need a point. They have to win there last game.

Gutted although looking at it another way even if we lose in the play-offs, for a professional side to consistently struggle or fail to beat part time sides they probably won't be good enough to be playing in the football league anyway

I totally get the apathy.
If we were 1-0 down and equalised on 88mins, and Barnet were winning all along and Kiddie equalised, we would be feeling much different.
But it's the same.
I know we've missed a glorious chance to win the title, but we've done brilliantly getting ourselves in this situation as Barnet were 11points ahead a few months ago.
Come on, Gas, don't give up heart or faith now. Cheer on to Alfreton next week and who knows what will happen..? Because I don't..
But at very least, you'll spend some more time with family or friends cheering the Gas on! Can't be all bad...

Just remember we put ourselves in pole position to stay up last year, did the hard bot and f**ked it up. Hoping for a sort of role reversal next week

Draws were the old wins. If they are the new loses times have changed.

The end of a football season is usually a mess, we let Dover score again today and it's all but over, Barnet score again today and it really is over. We've took a blow today but the fight isn't over, Gateshead only need a point, if they needed 3 i would be feeling like a miracle was needed, but i said the other week even if Gateshead have nothing to play for, they are the best footballing side in the league who can hurt any team, Barnet were awful today they maybe bouncing from our result but next week is a massive banana skin fixture for them. Last season Wycombe must have thought they had a 10% chance of staying up, i would say that all things considered we have a decent 40% chance of things going for us next week.

It is the complete reverse of last season .....
Thought we had done enough at Wycombe ... Last game nerves for different reasons !

The problem is even when teams do us a BIG favour ( Kiddi) we still blow it. You could argue luck have been against us in the lsat few years. But today was that day it was 'given on the plate'. It don't bode well for this football club..
