Inevitable I am afraid, we have not looked likely to score all afternoon, way to many off the pace, particularly Evans & Finlay.

Inevitabe I guess. Unfortunately Derby a step too far at this point in time.

We've up'd our pace and intensity since the 2nd goal.
It happens so often, why on earth can't we play like that from the off?

Going from rattling collection tins to employing Hourihane and Mendez-Laing and being able to not sell promising players like Bird and Sibley. Something is very wrong with the game when this is allowed to happen. Not just once but over and over again.

We've up'd our pace and intensity since the 2nd goal. It happens so often, why on earth can't we play like that from the off? Because we have nothing to lose. This dynamic always occurs after a second goal. If we went gung-ho from the outset it would be 0-5 or 0-6.

Glaring awful miss by Marquis. "Glaring awful miss" and "Marquis" seem to go so well together. He needs to be moved on at the end of the season. Recall Greenslade and give him first-team minutes.

Anyway... we're now 3 down.

Got everything we deserved from that.
Derby way too good for us combined with too many of our key players being way off the mark.
Lincoln next week who thumped Barnsley away today. It ain't going to get any easier.

It ain't going to get any easier. We needed all of our players to be on point and even then a bit of luck to have any hope of a result today. A win and a draw will be sufficient from the remaining 10 games, which should be easily achievable. The sooner the better. After this, we need a thorough clear-out, and a recruitment policy that does not consist of rooting around the free transfer bin. I also want to see the injuries and unnecessary suspensions addressed as a point of priority. If players are not fit to play on a regular basis, then they need to be shipped out, regardless of their ability. Having the likes of Ward and Hunt coming in and out of the team undermines team cohesion and the building of an effective unit. We got very lucky this season with Chris Martin's goals, but next season will be a real struggle, and possibly even a fight against relegation, if Taylor doesn't get things right over the summer.

Trying to find a positive from that:
1. We finished with 10 players on the pitch
2. No obvious injuries
3. It was only three
4. The result means little for us at this stage of the season
5. MT can clearly see the players who shouldn't be here next season.

In your view, who are these players?

I would however look at a core group of this squad to build on, with the others having to prove themselves in the remaining games. IMO That core should include: Antony Evans Jed Ward Luke Thomas Kahmil Conteh James Connolly Jevani Brown (there is an excellent player in there) Luca Hoole (as above) Chris Martin Jordan Rossiter (assuming he recovers well) Lewis Gordon I'm sure others would add or delete from that group. That leaves a lot of gaps to be filled which should either motivate other players to step up or the owner to flash the cash.
